Mineral putty is very easy to mold and shape, and will securely hold your specimens to acrylic or wood display bases. It does not dry out, will not leave any oily residue on your specimens or display, is very easy to remove, and can be reused after removing.
There are 6 strips approximately 5.5" long in each 75 gram pack. Each pack is enough putty to mount 3-6 large specimens, a dozen medium size specimens, and dozens of small or thumbnail specimens.
Mounting your specimens to an acrylic display base really gives your collection a professional look. We have several sizes of high-polish, beveled acrylic bases to choose from.
